Things to know before getting a TV in your bedroom
These is a big population of the Americans who just love to watch TV in their bedrooms and they are finding it a pretty attractive option as well. if you too are looking forward to get your TV in your bedroom, then you must consider a few things before it is too late for the decision.
- Ask yourself, do you really need a TV in your bedroom?
Be honest with yourself and answer the question, do you really need a 55-inch TV in your bedroom? What could be the possible reasons? May be you do not want to lay on the couch until late night in the living room while you can enjoy watching the TV from the comfort of your bed. Or it could be the kids, may be you just want to get rid of the constant rants of watching Frozen for the umpteenth time and want to enjoy your personal favorite TV show alone. Whatever be the reason, think if you really need it and then move on to the next step.
- Next thing to consider is the size of the TV that you are putting in your bedroom. Would the best 55-inch TV fulfill your requirements or you need a smaller one? That all depends on the distance of the TV from the bed. The larger the distance is, the larger the screen you can have.
- Now you will have to consider the place where you will be fixing the TV. There is nothing like the standard ideal for it, every space has a different requirement and depending upon that you can put the TV according to the furniture arrangement, the distance between the major objects in the room and of course the lighting. You can either fix the TV on the wall or if there is plenty of space in the room, then you can use some TV stand as well.
- Last but not the least is the height of the TV when you are mounting it on a wall in the bedroom. Remember that the requirements of the height are not the same as that of the living room because you would mostly be lying in bed at to watch the TV so it should be slightly higher than that in the living room.
